It’s for you…reverse caption contest

The Reverse Caption Contest gives artists the same caption - “It’s for you.” - and challenges them to create a cartoon based on their own interpretation.

This one was particularly challenging because “It’s for you.” is a classic cartoon trope. It’s been drawn by many great cartoonists dozens of times, so I wanted to come up with a unique angle.

My interpretation: a couple of gangsters proudly showing off the cinder-block device they’ve built for the unfortunate guy sitting beside it. Apparently, they take pride in their work.
